Level 1 NVQ In Customer Service

This NVQ is designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and experience of those people working in a service delivery role in a wide variety of organisations.

This qualification is aimed at individuals who are about to embark on a career in customer service. 

It is suitable for all age groups: for those thinking of entering employment for the first time;

for those who have just started a job which is customer focussed and

for those who are about to change their career path. 

It is also suitable for young people on work experience or pupils within schools. 

This qualification gives the foundation to future progression in a customer service career.

STRUCTURE OF AWARD

To achieve a full certificate in Customer Service candidates are required to complete 6 mandatory units.

A NVQ Level 1 takes approximately 6 months to 1 year to complete.

Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service

 

This NVQ is designed to enhance the skills, knowledge and experience of those people working in a service delivery role in a wide variety of organisations.

The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the industry's workforce. It provides a first insight into the principles and processes of the delivery of customer service and will aid career progression.

STRUCTURE OF AWARD

To achieve a full certificate in Customer Service candidates are required to complete 7 units in total (2 mandatory units and 5 optional units)

A NVQ Level 2 takes approximately 6 months to 1 year to complete.

This qualification can be obtained as a single NVQ or as part of an Apprenticeship

Level 3 NVQ in Customer Service

 

This NVQ is designed for customer service professionals, this qualification builds on the syllabus of the second level and deals with more complex issues and practices.

The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the industry's workforce. It provides a first insight into the principles and processes of the delivery of customer service and will aid career progression.

These awards are based on standards developed by the Institute of Customer Service (ICS) and are ideal for you if your job or intended job is involved primarily with customer service or if your job or intended job involves some customer service as a supplementary role or if you want to become a member of the Institute of Customer Service (if you are in a customer-facing  service role and achieve an NVQ, you are eligible for membership).

STRUCTURE OF AWARD

To achieve a full certificate in Customer Service candidates are required to complete 8 units in total (2 mandatory units and 6 optional units).

A NVQ Level 3 takes approximately 1 to 2 years to complete.

This qualification can be obtained as a single NVQ or as part of an Advanced Apprenticeship.
